Thanks to Corel Draw, computer graphics has never been so much fun! Working with the Corel suite of applications since version 3, my life has changed tremendously. (Really!) Computer graphics has changed the medium I was used to. Delving into everything from ceramics and silkscreening, to traditional painting and finally commercial art, I found my niche after seeing a demonstration of Corel products at a computer users group.
Taking a quickness to computers, I tried my hand at teaching. A few teaching positions at a couple of large computer retail stores later, I was hooked. Soon, I was introduced to a special lady here in the Chicagoland area, Lisa Lemes, who runs a user's group for Corel users in Glen Ellyn, IL. There, I mingled with other users and together we worked through the many love-hate issues of computer graphics and desktop publishing. A year later, I started my own user's group closer to my own town in Des Plaines, near Chicago's O'Hare field. Sadly, it lasted less than two years.

Today, GUI Graphics is going public with output services. Output printing to vinyl is relatively new, and can open new realms in the sign industry and for graphic artists. With the availability to print color resins on a variety of different vinyls, such as static clear, reflective and prismatics, as well as a huge assortment of colors and pre-printed backgrounds, vehicle graphics and other advertising means can be more affordable than typical hand painting, airbrushing or silkscreening. Duplicates are just that, exact copies, that airbrushing or hand-lettering can only dream of. Permanence with the colors and vinyl are typically rated at 7 years outdoors. Adhering the vinyl output to magnetic media creates quick promotions for your company that can easily be removed and re-used. Other output options can come from one of our new printers from AMD, with a permanent resin output, with the highest photo-realism we've seen so far and full-color laser output from our New QMS Magicolor2 with available resolutions up to 2400x2400dpi!
